This
four-part lecture series, presented by the Institute
for Applied Critical Thinking,
represents
the latest research on Baby Boomers and Late-Life Adult Transitions. These lectures are unique in several ways:
First,
topics are presented in an informative and engaging format.
Second,
class size will be limited to maintain an informal learning environment.
Third,
each lecture will focus on the personal side of various late-life
transitions, including: retirement, age and aging, finding meaning and
purpose, building a personal legacy, generational dynamics and
end-of-life conundrums.
Fourth,
each lecture will be followed by a life narrative of a local Boomer,
speaking about coping with their personal transitions.
Finally,
there will be an open forum for attendees to ask questions, and mingle.
Gourmet hors d'oeuvre will be served with local San Diego County wines.
