Retirement, contrary to popular belief, is not the finish line. There are other, exciting possibilities for adults such as launching a Second Adulthood. How does this differ from your current adulthood, and how does one actually “launch one”?

Second Adulthood is a time in our adult lives when we decide to live differently by:

•    Changing our assumptions and perspective
•    Abandoning old routines
•    Forming new relationships but retaining the old ones that matter most
•    Re-defining ourselves
•    Living with more meaning and purpose

It is about doing more of the things you really want to do without abandoning key relationships and important obligations. It is about developing a strategic plan for the rest of your life. The transition requirements become pivotal and are not to be taken lightly.

This lecture and discussion with the audience will focus on Second Adulthoods. You will learn what Second Adulthood is and how to transition into it.
