Retirement, contrary to popular belief, is not the finish line. There are other, exciting possibilities for adults such as launching a Second Adulthood. How does this differ from your current adulthood, and how does one actually “launch one”? Second Adulthood is a time in our adult lives when we decide to live differently by:
It is about doing more of the things you really want to do without abandoning key relationships and important obligations. It is about developing a strategic plan for the rest of your life. The transition requirements become pivotal and are not to be taken lightly. This lecture and discussion with the audience will focus on Second Adulthoods. You will learn what Second Adulthood is and how to transition into it. Lecturer: Patrick Davis, MSW Director and Founder of the Institute for Applied Critical Thinking (iACT) Immediately following the lectures a complimentary wine-tasting will be hosted by San Diego wineries. A range of hors d’oeuvre that complement the evening’s wine selections will be served and hosted by local caterers. (Alternative, non-alcoholic beverage will also be provided.)
